These mats are make of fleece strips sewn to a canvas like fabric backing. The mats are approximately 15 inches square. Treats can be put among the fleece strips for the pet to find. This mat is designed to stimulate the pet's brain and keep the pet from getting bored.
I really love the idea of using a snuffle mat for dogs, but I’ve found that my dog actually prefers the [alternative enrichment tool, like a lick mat or puzzle feeder] for mental stimulation. I think it’s because he enjoys the licking motion more than sniffing.
